Taiwan Day 2 - Day 3 清境

Day 2 at Qing Jing

Woke up at 4am for this.

to watch sunrise at 合欢山 (:

you may book this ticket with Villa person in advance for NT$400.

- After 1 hour -

It's freaking 0 degree or even lesser at top of the mountain and we're so not prepared!

Wore 2 layers bottom, 3 layer top still freezing like hell.

(can't even get down of the van cause it's too cold!)

Luckily the driver provide us some thick outer wear and pants so we manage to take a walk outside of the van.

I think it's a good experience 

and we're the lucky ones to manage to see the sunrise :)

Headed back to Villa to continue our sleep. :P

It's super hilarious to see their first reactions trying to get close to the mehs mehs.

After some time,
finally manage to take some decent photos of them feeding XD

Really a good experience, 

seldom have this kinna opportunity to feed animals and staying so close to them.

Advice: Please wear comfy shoes and beware of all the "GOLDs" on the grasses.

Spend quite some time on the grassland with the meh mehs.

(They gonna kill me for this XD)

Next destination!

Went to watch some performance from the Mongolians!

By the time we finish touring 青青草原, 

it's already evening time. 

Tried getting cab, but couldn't find one and worst still, 

we have not get any sim card to call our Villa counter for help.

(Best to arrange driver or communicate with villa person on the transport back)

After asking around, we realise we missed the bus that will probably be able to bring us down.

Luckily we found a cab uncle who are willing to bring us down while waiting for his client be finish touring 青青草原.

Headed down to 7-11 for some cup noodle before our Lu Shan Hot Spring (:

March Taiwan Trip - Day 1

It've been a really really tough week before my trip.

After a long day at work, headed home, bathed and have steamboat before my flight.

(At least a good start of my holiday yeah?)

22:30pm - meet the girls at the airport (:

Full of excitement for our trip!

All ready to scoot off to one of my favourite country!

终于有机会去我一直想去的国家 !

Taiwan I'm coming!

6am: Touched Down! Hello Taiwan! :D

Took Ubus from Tao Yuan Airport to Tao Yuan Station.

Tought of having Train Bendo on our way to Taichung.

Too bad, Bendo not available at this timing.

Had this for my 1 hour of train ride.

Love this drink :)

After reaching Taichung, 

we booked OK Bus to bring us to our Cing Jing Villa at 450 TWD each.

Another 2 hours Journey.

Honestly, the van are not as comfy as expected.

I could hardly have rest in the van.

(I'm expecting a bus actually)

After a long long ride.

Finally we reached!

Loving this Minsu at Cing Jing! Simply comfy and cosy!

The only bad thing about this villa is, no lift :(

We stayed at the 3rd Level and we have to bring our huge luggage up D:

But luckily, the minsu people are gentlemen enough to help us!

Service good, clean and comfy :) Recommended!

(saving us from walking up all the slopes.)

Frist stop: 纸箱王

First impression when i go in was "WOW"

interesting concept of using cartons to do the deco.

great atmosphere with so much creativity!

Nice place for photo taking and taking a look at their master pieces.

But i can say, not really recommended for their food though.

Headed to Little Swiss Garden next.

Beautiful little garden i would say, we spend so much time having fun taking photos :D

Enjoyed our-self in this little garden (:

Oh well, didnt have much time to complete our itinerary.

So we headed back down to our villa.

( Kind of creepy and scary walking down, as it was getting very dark but only 6plus in the evening.)

Back to our Villa and have a quick rest.

This is damn GOOD!

Ended day 1 with dinner, head back to villa to sleep as we will have to wake at 4am for next day's adventure!

GOOD BYE 2014!

2014 is coming to an end. 

Many things have happened, both good and bad 

but it wasn't really a great year though,not too bad either.

 Nevertheless i thank all bits of it that makes me grow stronger.

Sometimes, things have to be learnt in a hard way right? 

What doesn't kills you makes you stronger.

All the heavy hearted news about lives lost in disasters, 

life is so unpredictable.

人生无常, 要好好珍惜现在还有身边的人

Hope everything bad ends in 2014!

Leave all the bad memories behind and start a brand new journey for a brand new year ahead!

Last few days in London

Last stop for UK trip!
Back to London :)

And yes, tried Humming Bird Bakery recommended by most of my friends.

Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Red velvet cupcake are good!

We only have 3 of us, so didn't really tried much.

But sure gonna try the rest on my return to London if i have the chance XD

Maybe due to delay in posting, can't remember much on the details =X

But overall, my trip was awesome!

Not really good in words, too long didn't blog =X

Paris

- Throwback Post UK Trip JUNE 2014 -

Jet-ing to Paris! :)

Seriously speaking, not a really smooth trip for Paris.

1) Booked wrong hotel (what can be worst than this)

Only came to realise a day before we flying to Paris :(

Wasted the whole day 1 finding hotels D:

and what's worst?

2) The whole city going on strike! 

No public transport and all tourist/business people all trap in the city area.

All hotel are either fully booked or too expensive.

At this moment i really blame myself for being so careless :(

After hours of searching, finally we found one that pricing are reasonable.

It's almost bed time, so we can only start our exploring the next day.

 Here's one of Mum's favorite Chinese restaurant! 

We ate in this Chinese restaurant almost every meal of the day.

This explains how my mum really love eating here.

Same, bought hop on hop off bus tour.

Tour-ed around the city :)

Spend most of our time here :)

Love the view from the top of Eiffel tower.

In the past, Paris to me is a city of light, city of romance.

Didn't expect it to be noisy and flooded with vehicles!

And know what? my first ever experience witnessing the riots!
Scary, but sort of a memorable experience? lol

Just that the booking of wrong hotel really ruin the whole trip, 

Feeling really guilty about this.

Overall, Paris trip was half filled with guilt, half with happiness.

Finally got to see the Eiffel Tower :)

If only i have another chance to view the Eiffel Tower at night.  

Maybe, i'll be back again?
